Responsibilities

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will:

  • Collaborate with RNs regarding patients’ medications, physical status, psychological wellbeing and Plan of Care.
  • Implement and monitor patient’s detoxification protocols.
  • Administer medications according to physician orders and safe medication administration practices.
  • Provide patient education regarding medications and treatments.
  • Communicate patients concerns, outcomes, needs and status to the nursing team.
  • Demonstrate ability to use various forms of therapeutic communication when interacting with patients.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work as a productive member of the nursing team.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the Twelve Step Program.

Qualifications

Required

  • Vocational or technical training
  • One year experience in acute care setting
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • CA LVN license and current registration
  • Minimum 2 years Freedom from Chemical Dependency

USD $40.52/Hr.
